DONATING YOUR VEHICLE
You understand that by donating your vehicle, funds raised will be donated to your chosen charity

OUSTANDING VEHICLE FINANCE
It is the donors responsibility to inform us upon submission of vehicle details if there is any outstanding finance agreement on the vehicle. The outstanding finance amount will be deducted from the sale of a vehicle and the purchaser undertakes to settle the amount directly with the finance company.

PAYMENT PROCEDURE
All payments will be made by bank transfer to the chosen charity, as indicated by the donor.

SELLER’S WARRANTIES
The donor warrants:

That all information supplied to DONATE A CAR, on behalf of the donor is accurate.
If the vehicle has been an insurance write-off, this must be declared by the donor. The vehicle is not subject to outstanding finance unless we have been informed upon submission of vehicle details.

The mileage of the vehicle is accurate to the best knowledge of the donor.

Please disclose any known defects with the vehicle other than those that should be reasonably apparent on a visual inspection
The donor is the legal owner and/or has the authority to act on behalf of the legal owner.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION
The donor must provide all documents relating to the vehicle including the V5C (DVLA Ownership Title Document), service history and invoices, handbooks, radio codes and spare keys.

YOUR LIABILITY
You will be held responsible for any losses or costs, including reasonable legal fees, we incur as a result of (i) any breach by you of our Terms & Conditions; (ii) your use of our Website or Service in violation of any law; or (iii) infringement of the rights of another person.

ADMINISTRATION

Vehicles that raise a sum to £349 attract an admin fee of 20%. Vehicles that raise a sum above £350 attract an admin fee of 25%. Please understand that we do need to make this charge to cover general administration costs, staffing and advertising.

THE DONATE A CAR PROMISE
We will use our very best endeavours to conclude a satisfactory sale of your vehicle to benefit the charity of your choosing. However, any guaranteed amount cannot be given or implied before a vehicle has been sold and the funds have been donated to the chosen charity.
